UConn Kicks Out Students For Partying Without Masks

Several University of Connecticut students were removed from campus housing amid an investigation into a dorm party that violated the school’s COVID-19 measures.

An unapproved gathering in a dorm room, where a crowd of students were seen not wearing masks, may have spread the virus.

Thirty students have been quarantined since returning to school. Five on-campus students and two commuters have tested positive for the virus.

UConn has tested about two-thirds of its student body so far before classes start on August 31.
