In Connecticut, Free Drinks With Your COVID Shot

Connecticut has launched an incentive called #CTDrinksOnUs to encourage more residents to get COVID-19 vaccine shots.

Governor Ned Lamont says hundreds of restaurants across the state have volunteered to participate.

“The price for the drink is free. I think they will determine which of the beverages is free. We’ll leave that up to the restaurants.”

The promotion coincides with the date that Connecticut lifts all COVID-19 restrictions on businesses, and bars would be allowed to fully reopen.

It runs from May19th to May 31st.

Only vaccinated patrons would be eligible for the free drink.
