SUNY Students Who Break COVID-19 Rules Could Face Expulsion

The group that oversees state universities in New York has released new guidelines for schools to enforce if students break COVID-19 rules.

Ignoring quarantine orders, refusing to wear a mask or throwing parties are all grounds for punishment.

Students could face suspension from campus housing and classes, or even expulsion from the university.

Student gatherings on and off campus are the target of the new SUNY guidelines.
