A Trumbull, Connecticut, school will be closed for two weeks due 70 people who had to be quarantined due to COVID-19.
Superintendent Martin Semmel said there aren’t enough substitute teachers at Hillcrest Middle School needed to cover for staff members in isolation. The staff had come in close contact with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus.
Semmel said a person at Trumbull High School has also tested positive for the virus.
