Positive COVID-19 Tests Reported In 3 Long Island Schools
Three Long Island school districts have reported cases of COVID-19 just days before the beginning of the school year.
District officials said an Islip High School teacher tested positive for the virus and are currently working on contact tracing.
A staff member at St. James Elementary School and Merrick Avenue Middle School have also tested positive for the virus.
All three schools are scheduled to reopen next week.
