U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York has compiled a funding guidebook for those suffering from the economic impact of COVID-19.
The guide details federal grants from FEMA, the Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture that individuals, nonprofits and small businesses can use.
Her guidebook comes a day after the Senate passed legislation to provide $2 trillion in aid to Americans impacted by the coronavirus. It’s estimated that around 90% of households will benefit from federal relief checks.
Gillibrand’s guide will be continually updated throughout the coronavirus crisis. She says that her office will also provide New Yorkers with letters of support for the grant application process.
