Sackboy's Big (Musical) Adventure!

Sackboy, A Big Aventure is the newest game in the Little Big Planet series. In this launch title created by Sumo Digital for Sony's Play Station 5, Sackboy sets off on a quest to rescue his friends who have been kidnapped by the evil Vex and forced to work on his diabolical Topsy-Turver.

Sumo Digital Audio Director and composer Jay Waters and composer Joe Thwaites say the huge scope of the game and the all-star line-up of the other composers who contributed made this a really enjoyable project.

Jay and Music Director James Marshall worked with a roster of incredible media composers, including Lena Raine, Brian D'Oliveira, Winifed Phillips, Nick Foster and Jim Fowler. Each of them had their own part of the world in the game to create a musical signature; Winifred wrote music for the bubbly, underwater levels, and Brian for the Amazon region, for example. This gave the composers freedom to create their own sound within the larger world.
