Hofstra University officials are investigating the hate graffiti.

An investigation is underway at Hofstra University on Long Island after anti-Semitic graffiti was found elevators at a residence hall.

Authorities announced Thursday that the graffiti was found in two separate occupations in the same location; the first in September and the second over the past weekend.

It was discovered around the Jewish High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

University President Stuart Rabinowitz says discrimination and prejudice is condemned in all its forms. He says violators will face serious disciplinary action.
