More Coronavirus Restrictions On Public Spaces In Norwalk And New Haven

The mayors of New Haven and Norwalk, Connecticut, have closed some public spaces to reduce large gatherings – and the spread of the coronavirus.

Mayor Justin Elicker closed all school and park playgrounds in New Haven. 

Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling says the city will restrict traffic at parks and beaches and reduce occupancy rates at all businesses to 50% of the fire marshal’s allowed numbers.

He directed Norwalk families to limit trips to the store to only one family member per household, with exemptions for single parents.
