Police all across New York state will be supplied with the drug widely seen as an antidote to heroin and painkiller overdoses. New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman created the program and funded it with $5 million in money seized from criminal investigations.

Charles is senior reporter focusing on special projects. He has won numerous awards including an IRE award, three SPJ Public Service Awards, and a National Murrow. He was also a finalist for the Livingston Award for Young Journalists and Third Coast Director’s Choice Award.
