Newtown nine years later

Today marks nine years since the Newtown, Connecticut, school shooting where 20 students and six educators were killed.  Suffolk County has a new police commissioner, a petition to help protect New England marine life, and one parent’s work to end gun violence. 

Sabrina is host and producer of WSHU’s daily podcast After All Things. She also produces the climate podcast Higher Ground and other long-form news and music programs at the station. Sabrina spent two years as a WSHU fellow, working as a reporter and assisting with production of The Full Story.
Bill began his radio journey on Long Island, followed by stops in Schenectady, Bridgeport, Boston and New York City. He’s glad to be back on the air in Fairfield County, where he has lived with his wife and two sons for more than 20 years.
