Nursing homes in Connecticut are able to resume indoor visitations. State health officials have revoked previous orders that limited visitations at long term care facilities.

The orders were put in place to protect the health of residents in nursing homes during the coronavirus pandemic.

The new guidelines still require nursing homes and visitors to wear face coverings, social distance and follow other coronavirus safety guidelines. They also allow for expanded entry for health care providers whose services were restricted due to the pandemic.
