Demonstrators stage a protest on the field at the Yale Bowl, disrupting the start of the second half of an NCAA college football game between Harvard and Yale in November in New Haven.

A New Haven Superior Court judge has dismissed charges against nearly 50 people who disrupted a Yale-Harvard football game in November. The protesters challenged the two universities to divest their endowments from companies that contribute to climate change.

Hundreds of Yale and Harvard University students, alumni and advocates rushed the field at halftime, and held up the game for 40 minutes.

Some were charged with disorderly conduct.
