Alex Jones Allegedly Sent Child Porn With Lawsuit Documents

Attorneys for families of victims of the 2012 Newtown school shooting say conspiracy theorist Alex Jones sent them electronic files of child pornography.

The files were part of a court deposition in a defamation lawsuit. The families are suing Jones, who once said the shooting was a hoax. They say Jones' comments torment them and subject them to harassment and death threats from his followers.

Jones now says the shooting really happened and blamed his comments on psychosis.

Jones denied the recent allegations and says one of the attorneys planted the child pornography to frame him. Lawyers for the families say Jones threatened attorney Chris Mattei on his web-based broadcast. Jones’s lawyer said he didn’t threaten Mattei.

A court hearing on the documents is scheduled for Tuesday.
