Conn House passes bill to help long-term unemployed get job interviews

Democrats who control the Connecticut legislature would like to see businesses hire the long term unemployed. They say some businesses do not consider unemployed workers for available jobs. A bill that would prohibit such discrimination passed the state House of Representatives on Friday.
