Lawmakers consider system to track Conn. students from pre-K to their first job

A bill that would allow Connecticut officials to track students from pre-K through to their first jobs was passed by the state General Assembly’s Higher Education Committee on Monday. The bill was approved despite some concerns the system might violate privacy rights.
