Connecticut ranks second highest in the nation for the strength of its gun reform laws, trailing only California.

That’s according to an annual ranking by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.

WSHU's Ebong Udoma covers the state capitol and discusses the legislative response to the Newtown School Shooting, which included new stricter gun laws.

As WSHU Public Radio’s award-winning senior political reporter, Ebong Udoma draws on his extensive tenure to delve deep into state politics during a major election year.
