Architect presents design for new Sandy Hook Elementary School

Davis Dunavin

Officials in Newtown heard design plans for the new Sandy Hook Elementary School at a town meeting Tuesday. Residents voted last fall to tear down the building where 20 students and 6 teachers were shot in 2012. The school construction is being paid for with a $50 million state grant.

Davis Dunavin loves telling stories, whether on the radio or around the campfire. He started in Missouri and ended up in Connecticut, which, he'd like to point out, is the same geographic trajectory taken by Mark Twain.
