A Connecticut teenager charged with starting a fire that destroyed a historic theater has pled not guilty to another fire at a nearby state park.
The 18-year old is one of three teenagers charged in connection with a January fire that destroyed the American Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford, where people like Katharine Hepburn and Christopher Walken once performed.
He’s also charged with a fire in March that destroyed construction trailers at Silver Sands State Park in neighboring Milford. He pled not guilty to charges including trespassing, criminal mischief and larceny.
The Stratford teen’s lawyer says he’s continuing to review evidence in the case.
