Classical Music Highlight: Poulenc Frees The Harpsichord From The 18th Century

20th century harpsichord virtuoso Wanda Landowska wanted new music to play, so she asked Francis Poulenc for a concerto that would be a blend of old and new. We'll enjoy the result this evening.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
