Classical Music Highlight: No Pain, No Gain!

John Minchillo

Snow White met the man of her dreams…but had to deal with a poison apple.

Sleeping Beauty was sleeping off a century-long curse when her Mr. Wonderful showed up.

And then there was Cinderella. She found her guy….but lost a shoe and suffered with a wicked stepmother and sisters first. Rossini tells HER tale in “La Cenerentola” this afternoon!

For more than 20 years, Lauren has demystified classical music for her audiences by taking it off a dusty old pedestal and putting it into a modern context. She lives on Long Island with her husband and two punky schnauzers.
