Thank you, Tom!

It all started in 1987—that’s when Tom Kuser began his journey at WSHU. Over the past 37 years, Tom has worn just about every hat: music host, reporter, producer, fundraiser, news director, program director—you name it. He’s been the voice of All Things Considered, The Full Story, and, of course, Morning Edition.

Now, Tom Kuser is retiring. He and his wife Joan are moving to New Hampshire, where they will get to sleep in (no more 2:30 a.m. alarm!) and be closer to their youngest daughter. Today is Tom's last day on the air.

To honor his remarkable career, we’re flipping the script for a special edition of The Full Story. WSHU staff—past and present—are sharing their favorite memories and celebrating the incredible legacy Tom leaves behind.

This one’s for you, Tom. Thank you for everything!
