Become a Sustainer and Receive NPR+
We’re excited to announce that WSHU Public Radio is now offering NPR+ as a special thank-you gift for sustaining members who commit to donating at least $8/month or $96/year!
What is NPR+?
NPR+ is a special collection of benefits that includes bonus episodes, sponsor-free listening, and even early access and archive access for some of NPR’s most popular shows. This means you can listen to podcasts like Up First or Code Switch with no inserted sponsor breaks, and you can even enjoy bonus episodes and behind the scenes content for shows like Planet Money, 1A, and Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me. How do I get NPR+?
It’s easy - just set up a recurring donation to WSHU at a minimum of $8/month or $96/year on either our main donation page or at our NPR+ signup page (donating via our donation page ensures no additional fees are taken from your gift). Once your sustaining donation is confirmed, you’ll get an invite email to set up your account. Please note that while the activation email through the NPR+ signup page is automatic, it may take a little longer for you to get your activation email if you signed up through our main donation page, so we appreciate your patience!
I’m already a donor to WSHU, do I get access to NPR+ automatically?
If you have an existing recurring donation in our system for a minimum of $8/month or $96/year, then yes, you can get NPR+, but it’s not quite “automatic” because we need to grant you access through our systems. So first, head to plus.npr.org and click “log in” at the top of the page, then enter your email address. If you don’t see a login email in your inbox within a minute or two (and you are sure that you have an existing recurring donation for $8/month or $96/year, or more), then just email us at membership@wshu.org, and we’ll help you get set up!
