Governor Hochul says she hopes to recruit some of the recently laid off federal employees for New York State service jobs. Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is expected to announce a run for mayor of New York City soon. One of two emergency bills passed this week in Connecticut does not have the support of the governor. Plus, a pilot program looks to solve Connecticut’s “transit desert” problem.
