Democrat David Calone and Republican Ed Romaine appeared separately during AARP's Suffolk County executive candidate forum on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Stony Brook University.

The candidates for Suffolk County Executive sparred over housing, public safety and environmental issues during a Newsday debate. New York state police will up their presence at synagogues.
