Battle for the beach

Sabrina Garone
WSHU Public Radio

The Shinnecock Nation wants free beach access for tribal members in Southampton. Connecticut honors military service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice, Long Island Republicans are not happy about a potential change in state elections, and disparities in the baby formula shortage.

Sabrina is host and producer of WSHU’s daily podcast After All Things. She also produces the climate podcast Higher Ground and other long-form news and music programs at the station. Sabrina spent two years as a WSHU fellow, working as a reporter and assisting with production of The Full Story.
