Hospital Limits Visitors During Coronavirus Uptick

Yale New Haven Hospital
Yale New Haven Hospital
Yale New Haven Hospital is among the facilities limiting visitors.

In Connecticut, the recent surge in COVID-19 cases has caused Yale New Haven Hospital to limit visitor access to patients at the hospital and its outpatient facilities.

The policy does not apply to Bridgeport Hospital or Greenwich Hospital, also part of the Yale New Haven system.

Exceptions include select visitors to maternity patients, children, end-of-life patients, the Neonatal ICU, and patients with physical or cognitive disabilities.

All visitors who enter the hospital will be screened for COVID-19, and those who are sick will not be permitted to enter.
