Connecticut Colleges See Increase In COVID Cases

Colleges and universities across the state are dealing with an increase of cases both on and off campus.

Fairfield University has told students who live off-campus to remain off campus and attend class remotely.

Sacred Heart University in Fairfield has move to an “orange” alert status, and have placed students in two dorms on campus in a 14 day quarantine.

UConn-Stamford placed its Washington Boulevard dorm in quarantine after a dozen students tested positive last weekend.

Quinnipiac University in Hamden remains at “orange alert” and classes are being held remotely through Friday.

Other Connecticut colleges and universities are also seeing an increase in cases.
