House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of Calif., speaks about the HEROES Act, Tuesday on Capitol Hill. Pelosi unveiled the more than $3 trillion coronavirus aid package Tuesday. It provides nearly $1 trillion for states and cities, hazard pay for essential workers.

Democrats in New York and Connecticut push for a $3 trillion rescue package to help shore up a bullwhipped local economy. And about that economy, we have a preview.
