PBS NewsHour's Judy Woodruff and Gwen Ifill, along with Weekend Edition host Rachel Martin, will kick off the special coverage each night of the conventions beginning 8:00 PM (ET) and will continue through 11 PM (ET) or when the convention proceedings conclude.

- Weekend All Things Considered host Michel Martin will be reporting from Cleveland in the days leading up to the Convention, hosting roundtables with local guests on what it means to be a Republican.
- All week long, NPR Newscaster Korva Coleman will anchor the daily morning newscast live from 6 AM (ET) to 11 AM (ET) from Member station WCPN Ideastream.
