Conn. State Senate passes bills intended to help consumers

Tuesday was a busy day for the Connecticut State Senate. It passed a range of bills intended to help the consumer. Those include one bill that could give police chiefs in cities and towns a say over the renewal of liquor permits and another to modernize the state's Do Not Call Registry.
