Bill to ban fracking waste from Conn. passes state legislative committee

A bill that would prohibit the storage or disposal of hydraulic fracking waste in Connecticut got the approval of a key legislative committee on Monday. Lawmakers on the state General Assembly’s Judiciary Committee voted 34 to 6 to move the bill forward.
