Newspaper publishers push back against municipalities

Connecticut newspaper publishers are pushing back against a proposal to remove a state requirement that municipalities place public notices in newspapers. The proposal is part of the Democrats legislative agenda to cut the cost of government.  A legislative committee held a public hearing on the proposal in Hartford on Wednesday.
