On Saturday, February 23, the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra is presenting a concert version of Leonard Bernstein's classical musical, "West Side Story." Kate Remington talked with conductor Jonathan Yates about what makes this such an iconic work of American music.

The Norwalk Symphony's production is presented in collaboration with New Paradigm Theatre; Kristin Huffman, producing partner; and Shakespeare on the Sound's Claire Kelly, stage director.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
