Music Interview: David Lockington Conducts The Stamford Symphony Orchestra

The Stamford Symphony Orchestra has narrowed its search for a new music director and conductor to a few outstanding artists.

And on Saturday, February 24, and Sunday, February 25, audiences will have a chance to see one of them, David Lockington, as he conducts a program which includes Saint-Saens' Cello Concerto No. 1 with soloist Joshua Roman, as well as music by Brahms, and one of Lockington's own works!

Kate Remington talked with him about why he's excited to conduct the orchestra.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
