Earthplace BioBlitz

Earthplace BioBlitz
Help us record the incredible biodiversity of the Earthplace nature sanctuary during our first-ever BioBlitz!
A BioBlitz is a communal effort to record as many species within a designated location and time period as possible. You don't need to be an ID expert to volunteer!
Throughout the day, experts will lead guided walks through different habitats, searching for and identifying as many plant, animal, and fungi species as possible. Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or a curious beginner, this is a great opportunity to contribute to community science, learn from experts, and discover what’s living at Earthplace.
Breakfast (9-10am) and lunch (12-1pm) will be provided, courtesy of the Greens Farms Garden Club.
Safety reminder: We’ll be exploring grassy and wooded areas, so please wear long pants, use insect repellent, and check yourself thoroughly after the event.
