In 1973, American conductor, harpsichordist, and composer Martin Pearlman broke new ground by founding North America’s first permanent Baroque orchestra. His ensemble became a driving force in the revival and celebration of Baroque music. As Martin Pearlman prepares to retire in 2025, you can hear some of his achievements on Sunday Baroque, starting at 7 a.m. on 91.1, 107.5 and our music stream, and at 10 a.m. on 89.9.
From WSHU's daytime and evening classical programs, Emily Boyer and Lauren Rico give you a heads-up on some of the best music they've selected.
