Born in the same year, Isaac Albéniz and Edward MacDowell each left a lasting impact on classical music. Albéniz helped shape the voice of Spanish music, while MacDowell became one of America's earliest celebrated composers. Hear music by both men tonight, starting at 8 p.m. on 91.1, 107.5, and our music stream.

Julie Freddino is WSHU's program director. She also hosts Sunday Spotlight and produces Sunday Baroque.
