Listen tonight: Jean-Pierre Rampal champions Baroque music

Warner Classics

Flutist Jean-Pierre Rampal is one of the most recorded classical musicians of all time. He had a keen interest in Baroque music and made it his mission to recover flute compositions from that era. Hear Rampal play a concerto by one of those lesser-known Baroque composers tonight on WSHU, beginning at 8 p.m. on 91.1 and 107.5 FM and our music stream.

Julie Freddino is WSHU's program director. She also hosts Sunday Spotlight and produces Sunday Baroque.
