Some instruments, like the violin, have transcended the century when they were created, but not the harpsichord, which seems to be stuck in the 18th Century. Our music today includes the Promenades for harpsichord by 20th Century composer Bohuslav Martinu. Tune in at 9 a.m. on 91.1 and 107.5 FM and our music stream.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
