Gustav Mahler wrote his Symphony No. 5 as a gift for his wife, Alma, who heard the first performance when Gustav played it for her on the piano by a lake. You can enjoy it during our music this evening beginning at 8 p.m. on 91.1na d107.5 FM and our music stream.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
