Antonin Dvorak proposed to the young woman he wanted to marry, by when she refused, he turned the love songs he wrote for her into miniatures for string quartet and married her sister instead. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
