Camille Saint-Saens didn't have a very high opinion of concert pianists, so he included them among the animals in his Carnival of the Animals. We'll enjoy it today, along with a violin concerto Eric Korngold adapted from some of his film scores. Tune in at 9 am on 91.1 and 107.5 FM and our music stream.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
