Classical Music Highlight: Stories From The Underground Railroad

Tonight we'll hear selections from the world premiere of Sanctuary Road, a new oratorio by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Paul Moravec, based on writings and interviews about the Undergroud Railroad by William Still, who ushered over 900 slaves to freedom. 

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
