Classical Music Highlight: First Fridays in Concert Features New Haven Ensembles

On this month's edition of "First Fridays in Concert,"  we'll enjoy live performances by the Yale Symphony Orchestra conducted by Toshiyuki Shimada, and settings of poems by e.e.cummings by Augusta Read Thomas, performed by the Elm City Girls' Choir and New Haven Symphony Orchestra.  

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
