Classical Music Highlight: Some Creative Recycling From Respighi

Ottorino Respighi picked out some lute pieces from the Renaissance and arranged them for orchestra to prove that it was possible to write interesting music in the 1930's.  We'll enjoy his Third Suite of Ancient Airs and Dances today.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
