Congestion Tolling

New York is inching toward becoming the first U.S. city to charge motorists an extra fee for entering its most congested areas.

Starting Sunday, cash is no longer accepted at the George Washington Bridge. Drivers looking to cross the Hudson River from New Jersey into New York will go through an electronic tolling system.
