President Obama has selected Deputy Education Secretary John B. King Jr. to replace Arne Duncan. King is a former New York state education commissioner.

Governor Hochul called for tuition increases for both the SUNY and CUNY systems. A proposal from LIPA would reward customers for using electricity at off-peak hours. A look at Connecticut democrats’ legislative agenda, and the Navy has raised its age limit for new recruits.
