
Terry Sheridan
Senior Director of News and EducationTerry Sheridan is a Peabody-nominated, award-winning journalist. As Senior Director of News and Education, he developed a unique and award-winning internship program with the Stony Brook University School of Communications and Journalism, where he is also a lecturer and adjunct professor. He also mentors graduate fellows from the Sacred Heart University Graduate School of Communication, Media, and the Arts.
Sheridan was a longtime reporter for 1010 WINS Radio in New York City, covering everything from 9/11 and its aftermath to the Occupy Wall Street movement. He also reported for NBC News Radio and its flagship station, WOR. His reports have aired on NPR, the BBC, ABC, RTE and the CBC. He is also a regular contributor to The Pat Kenny Show on Newstalk 106-108 in Dublin, Ireland.
Terry is past president of The Inner Circle of City Hall Reporters, a group of New York City-area journalists that roast the mayor and governor each year for New York-based charities. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Fordham College Alumni Association.
