Betsy Kaplan

Betsy is a producer for WNPR. She has produced for the Colin McEnroe Show and the Colin McEnroe Show, currently producing full-time for the Colin McEnroe Show. She produced an award-winning show on the renaissance of Connecticut farms for Where We Live. 

Betsy started as an intern at WNPR after embarking on a second career in production after earning a Master's Degree with Distinction in American and Museum Studies from Trinity College. Prior to that, Betsy worked for many years as an intensive care registered nurse in Connecticut hospitals. She also served as Vice-Chairman for three elected terms on the Farmington Board of Education and was active in her community. 

Betsy is married to Keith and has three daughters, Katie, Samantha and Sally. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors.

Prior to earning her Master's degree, she earned a B.S. degree in nursing from Fairfield University.
